UR Nuts is proud to call home one of Frederick's original downtown buildings, a structure that's stood for more than 200 years! When we found it, we didn't just see brick and beams. We saw legacy. Possibility. A place that had already seen centuries of stories and was ready to tell a new one.
We restored the building with care and intention, blended its historic bones with a fresh, modern design that welcomes today's community. It's where old-world craftsmanship meets the warmth of something new. A place to gather, laugh, and maybe leave with a bag of something unforgettable!
And if you see a mischievous little chipmunk on our signs or merch, that's Chippy, our unofficial mascot and a reminder to keep things fun and never skip snack time!
Because this isn't just about selling nuts. It's about planting something meaningful in the heart of a town we've grown to love. One roast, one story, one customer at a time.

Downtown Frederick has plenty of parking within a short walk of the shop:
- Church Street Garage — closest to us, about a two-minute walk
- Court Street Garage — about a five-minute walk
- Carroll Creek Garage — about a five-minute walk, near Carroll Creek Park
Street parking is also available along North Market Street and the surrounding blocks.
