Candied

Crafted the traditional way using a Bavarian-style roast, our candied nuts are made in small batches in a copper kettle, stirred until the sugar crystallizes into that distinctive crackly shell. It's slow work and it can't be rushed, which is exactly why most places don't bother!

The result is sweet without being cloying, with the nut's own flavor still clearly present underneath. Cinnamon glazed almonds, cashews, and pecans are our staples, and we rotate seasonal varieties through the shop when the mood strikes.

These are the nuts that fill the store with a smell people follow in from the sidewalk. They're excellent on their own, and they turn a cheese board, a salad, or a bowl of ice cream into something people ask about.
